Where I can I find information on the archeological site, Hedeby?

I am doing a project for my college history cl and I need to find information about the archeolgical site Hedeby. I don't want to use wikipedia as we all know it isn't necessarily fact and I can seem to find anything just by googling/yahooing/etc. I have used data bases but I'm not finding what I need. I need to know what the value of the site is in terms of how it aided in our understanding of the viking civilization, etc. Does anyone know where I can look or better yet, have a link?
