My computer makes random beeping noises, help?

You can go to your control panel and change the system sounds through the sound menu. Most Operating systems will default to the system beep from the motherboard if the sound driver is not installed. Either install the sound driver or attempt to adjust it through the control panel. Your sound driver can be found on your manufacturer's website (HP, Gateway, Dell, etc.) and just go to their "Support and Drivers" link and type in your computer's model number. A list of all the installed drivers can be found on this site. Click on the sound driver, download it and install it.
