Are people in the military violent and uncivilized brutes?

Look at the answers I get on my first question about flag burning. Some of them will b death threats and threats of violence. Flag burning is perfectly within my rights and it is an absurd disregard for the law that would lead people to do those things to me in retaliation for expressing my freedom of speech.
