How much of a scam does this sound like?

if you spend one day of every week in a house with a bunch of other hypocritical people and a few well meaning ones trying to act holier than thou, and donate a lot of your money that could go to feed starving kids to convince people of my message and gild my houses, try to convince everyone of my message, and bow down to me whenever you do something wrong, regardless of whether you are a good person or not, all dictated by a set of rules that only have a logical basis in a primitive iron age society, i will reward you, but if you dont i will punish you.... wait for it... AFTER you die... i think it seems pretty legit...
