How can I explain to my parents, who my dad said that they were once "hippies", to the "new emo scene"?

well you need to make an appointment yes an appointment with and stress that you are serious and tell them during this time there will be no phone calls or leaving the room -- then when and if you do get this meeting force the issue and make them believers -- trust me -- i am 68 and i really care about teens but i am completely out of touch!!!!
