Are scientist going to clone a woolly mammoth or not?

Cloning is very complex and takes a great deal of time, money and effort. Eventually, it will happen--when exactly it will work is unknown. It took years to clone Dolly the sheep and that was a much much much simpler process than cloning an extinct animal.
